Jaehyo: I searched on the internet of what’s good for patients who are dealing with brain hemorrhage and I came across a post that said that music is a big help to those who are unconscious. I found all the songs that I grew up listening to in my mother’s arms on the radio and played it for her.
MC: How old are you?
Jaehyo: I was born in 1990.
MC: There must be a lot of songs you don’t know.
Jaehyo: There were songs like “Toy Soldier.” She had a wide genre for music like “Attachment” from Young Turks Club. Even songs from Y2K.
MC: It must have been a lot of help having your older brother take care of your mother also. Jaehyo: Yes, considering he’s an older brother, he would comfort me. When my mother was unconscious at the time, I visited her in the intensive care unit but she would constantly look for my older brother. The reason for this is because my older brother was very studious so she would brag to the nurses about him. Despite being unconscious, she would say those things, yet she wouldn’t talk about me.
MC: No matter of her being unconscious, that must be upsetting for you.
Jaehyo: I think for that reason, I decided to shape up and do something with my life, so I worked hard in preparing to become a singer and what my older brother told me was, “Don’t ever cry in front of the camera.” I spoke about my mother before on camera and in seeing me cry, my mother had cried more than I did, so he told me to never show my weak side in front of the camera.

Hello, this is a Block B fan, BB.C. At the thought of being able to hear Block B’s song, at the thought of being able to see their faces, I left the house without an ounce of rest and with an exicted heart. After arriving at the scene, I checked in on the fandom list and was waiting for the staff when people came and told us that our fandom could not be seated due to circumstances with the broadcast. All of us sat back down, sighing, at the ridiculousness of the situation. But we consoled ourselves because we know that our company is still yet growing. After all of the singers and staff members of Inkigayo went home, I watched the video on my way home. One minute and 56 seconds. While watching it with my ear phones, I couldn’t help but laugh, dumbfounded. We may be rookies, and we may not have the public recognition yet, but why is it that B1A4, a group that debuted at the same time, got a full stage?Do you know how much time and effort went in to creating the song “Tell Them!”? You may think that all it takes to make a song is touching a few machines and throwing in some autotune, but is that how Inkigayo wants to work? Are you satisfied with taking a few cuts there, throwing out some footage here, and releasing useless scenes? Do you not think of the people that worked day and night without rest for this one song? Other people that saw that video poured criticisms against us, asking what kind of song is this? Why does this song have such a confusing layout, why does none of it match? Honestly, we admit that our Block B is weak when it comes to dance, but they are children that have put their first foot into this savage-like industry with their belief in their sound alone. How desperate are they for even that minute and 56 seconds? How pained must they be to not be able to show everything they can to their fans? To the producers of Inkigayo, you may feel that it’s a waste to spend a few minutes on rookie idols, but we’re desperate because every second, every minute brings us so much joy as we take our first steps. If you steal away even such happiness from us, exactly what are we supposed to believe in, how are we supposed to support Block B, and how is Block B supposed to stand on stage?Block B are singers, and music is the most important to singers.
